Over 200 new jobs created at the 401 Building
A Class-A office building sitting at what's considered the Gateway to
Downtown Chattanooga, a $3 million exterior renovation. After completing
in December 2004, it has emerged as one of the most attractive buildings
in the downtown area with amenities to satisfy most corporate tenant
needs. With 30,000 square feet per floor, the 401 Building has the largest
floor plate for lease of any building in downtown Chattanooga, making it a
perfect choice for any tenant-especially the larger tenant who requires
the convenience of single-level office space.
The 401 Building is among the most technologically advanced with the
latest in fiber optics. It will be among the safest and most secure
buildings in downtown, with brand new skywalks from the garage into the
third, fourth, and fifth floors of the building. Each floor will have a
separate, secured entrance and most tenants should be able to walk from
their cars into the building within 30 seconds.
The 401 Building has a brand new stunning two story lobby that will greet
visitors on the 4th Street side, which is the exit most commonly used by
visitors to Chattanooga's downtown; making it the most prime location.
The parking garage is literally a project in itself. It has 430 covered
spaces features a new exterior appearance, and new brighter lighting for
better security. Beneath the parking garage, facing 4th Street is Rush
Fitness Center, America's most exciting place to exercise! Open 24/7 with
approximately 15,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including
sauna & steam rooms and an indoor lap pool.
